nah, it just seems like it. try matching up the frames, they dont really match up. the ground level is not even

It is the same footage, just cropped a bit. I've seen this video before.

Supposedly the kid actually got away.

Good stuff. But they said the M3 was supercharged...are they on crack or am i?

i couldnt get the frames to match up.

Actually that BMW got away, it was stolen and modified. The guy who worked on the car posted about that a while ago on other forums, forget who's shop it was.

ha ha camaros suck

he obviously got away, or they would have shown footage of his arrest since the pursuing caprice had a camera in it. they want the general public to think nobody gets away from the cops, while in reality that is not the case

We also learn from this video that not only does the bmw handle better, but also breaks better. That cop almost rear ended him when the BMW made the u turn

e30 isn't supercharged. it has 240hp from the factory from it's I-4. There are some extremely crazy turbo e30 m's running around though, with 600+ whp.

the "he got cought" scene is a section of previously shown footage, just slowed down so it looks like he is stopping.

Very good. I saw this a few months ago on the BMW boards. It's been said that the kid actually got away.

ha if youlook closley at the end you can see that is the same scean as when he is doing the u turn you see its the same sign on th eright side of the road and aslt right befor they cut it off is where he is starting the sharp turn.. that is funny. and lame at the same time they thye lie about that.

I am in the library right now at school and I didn't have any sound on. I was asking myself at the end of the scene whether they caught him or not because I couldn't hear what the officer was saying. That was some pretty good driving

I went back and watched it again. The "breaking down" footage is definately the same slam on brakes footage. That kid got away, and real tv or whatever turned it into a "you'll never get away story".

Also, that kid would never be dumb enough to attempt to ram a cop car at anything above 60mph. That camaro has about 400lbs on the m, it wouldn't do much. It almost looks as if the cop attemps to sideswipe the m, his rear end brakes loose. The cop attemps to bring it back, and just looses all control. Then blaims his **** up on the kid.

Moral is, cops lie to make themselves look better, and slowing down footage to make it look like the car broke down is cool.

im sorry cops.. you lose this time..

as you can see they just zoomed in a little to cut the time stamp off and played the video just before he made the U turn
and if he broke down there would probably be black smoke or something commin out, don't think he would be braking either

Ummm the problem with this show is -

tires don't squeel on grass. Stupid sound effects.

all of those police chase videos have fake sound effects

whats worse is when they do them from a helicopter camera... like they can hear it from 2000 feet up!

hmmm...never would of thought that they would make up stuff on t.v. lol. The dude who outran the cops is never gonna come forth and say " hey I got away, you got it all wrong" So we will never know. Too bad, I outran the cops in a Supra when I was 18 and the cop who finally cought me was all interested in the car while the sherrif I made look like an ass cause he couldn't manuver as good was extreemly pissed. I think the cop they were interviewing would of been bragging more if they had cought the kid. Also, if it was a kid and they cought him, why not show them hauling the kid out of the car and slamming him down on the ground like all the other times they catch a guy that runs. That was what seemed strange to me.
