wheels balanced
Got my new snows put on and ballanced on the newest machine available.
Reverbaration still there only slightly less noticable...piss me off.
The dealer didn't charge me a thing and did it all under the warranty as part of the trouble shooting. They don't seem to notice the reverbaration like I do. They do still acknowledge the howl at 70km/hr and want to keep the car for a good 4-5 days to continue trouble shooting. The howl is definitly coming from the drive line. It is present even when you clutch in and shut off the motor (rear diff or axel). They do seem determined to find the problem. I haven't been able to talk them into giving me an RX-8 as a loaner, just a 2000Protege.
Let me know if you learn anything new.
ONRAILS said:any update on this? I'm still getting the vibration. Coming up on 3k miles, gonna take it in for the oil change, and have them rotate the tires. Gonna bring up the fact that my front tires are cupping on the outside, and to figure out why. That is what the vibration is causing... cupping.
