Ok guys, I bought a set of fullbody coilovers a while back on here from chubhawk. I realized after getting them that at least 2 of the struts will need rebuilt. The only issue is that I have no idea what kind of coilovers they are. Anybody have an idea?

Ya, but they don't adjust like K-Sports. I have seen some older Konis and Bilsteins that looked really similar to these as well. I have no idea tho. There are no identifying marks on them.

i have no clue dude iv asked every1 ! no one knows ... no markings no logos they came with my msp when i got her

I've seen these somewhere before, I think they were eBay knock offs. Not sure though, what's up with the 2 piece springs? I've never seen a coilover with that before

I wish I could remember the name of them

Kw or Megan racing. Going of pics on eBay Kw has the 2 piece springs and Megan racing has the orangish red color

The small spring on top is a "helper spring". They are fairly common.

Ya I have been so deep online and can't find anything that 100% matches these. I've never had something so hard to identify.

As I said get on eBay and look up Megan racing and kw, I thinks it's an early version of the kw

I'm not thinking its either one of those.

My search has brought me to a few things...Koni, Bilstein, SpringTec, and HotBits. Anybody think I'm close? These use factory top hats if that helps anybody out.

The problem is I don't think koni or bilstein makes coilovers for the protege plus those are high dollar things you're talking about, they would not use factory too hats

They are older 40mm insert style Hotbits. Had great service from them so far. Very quick emails back and get right to the point answering questions and pointing me in the right direction to get them rebuilt.
