Clutch Squeaking *AGAIN*

Alright, so after having my first clutch replaced 2k miles ago, tonight I starting noticing the clutch is squeaking again. This happens only at idle and when the car is completely off. It did this a while before my last clutch went out and now it's back. Any ideas? This is my first manual, so it may be normal, but I'm really paranoid now that I've already gone through one clutch in less than 12k miles.

So, again, it's a squeak noise coming from what sounds like underneath the car. It happens right before the clutch pedal is fully pressed down and stops. The car is in neutral, A/C off, at idle or off. You can let off the clutch just a bit and push it in again and the squeak will happen again. It almost sounds like a spring or something is somewhat dry or not getting fluid.

my p5 does the same thing, i consider it normal. It has done it for a while. I know that these clutches are hydraulic and all, but you gotta think the release (throwout) bearing is metal and so are the clutch fingers (which basically is a big spring) are metal, so metal on metal and a big spring=squeak. or at least thats how i see it. My Ford Ranger does it, and i put a centerforce dual friction clutch in it. I wish they made one of these for our cars. that thing is bad. I cant make it slip.

Hrm... My mom's 03 Protege LX doesn't do it, though. Then again, we bought our cars the same day and she doesn't even have 5k on it, while I'm around 13,700...

Hmmmm. I have no idea what that sound would be or whether it's good or bad. All I can tell you is that I've driven a lot of manual trannies and I've never heard any squeeks except for from my sister's mid-80s Escort (and it was old, tons of miles, probably just needed oil). I'd mention it to the stealership when you inevitably have to go there for some other work.
