Clutch Remove and Replace

I need to replace the clutch on my 2003 Protege 5 (2.0 Litre). Can anyone tell me if the clutch comes out the top or out the bottom? If it comes out the bottom can it be done with the car on ramps or will I need a hoist?

Bottom... can't use ramps since you need to remove left strut and lca balljoint from hub and pull the axle. A jack, jackstands and some woodblocks to support the motor near the tranny since there will only be the right side motor mount holding the motor.
