Has anyone in the colder climates notice that when you turn your car on when its cold (and the engine is cold) right after the car starts you here a little clunk noise come from the engine. It is a quick suttle clunk and it only happens when the temp. is below freezing and the engine is cold.

Any ideas?? Besides that, the car is fine.

I think I get the same sound you are talking about. It seems like maybe it could be due to heat expansion or something. It could have something to do with the flexible exhaust joint after the first catalytic, it uses a spring type joint. This is a complete guess though.
