Some tree sap fell on my hood and I was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions on how to remove it. I tried to just rub it off but it doesnt come off. Anyone know of anything I could buy that would get it off?

Clay bar in conjunction with Spray Detailer; actually, the detailer may do it on its own. If neither of those works, try some bug off, or road ar remover. Just make sure it doesn't kill your paint/wax.

Turtle Wax makes a good tar/sap/bug remover..

Liquid Lustre. MazdaSpeedGirl posted the link for it a while back and I have two bottles of it sitting here now.. It works wonders on bugs, road tar & sap. I'll see if I can find the link.

Try to get to it with just plain car wash soap (i.e. wash your car) before it hardens.

If not, then try the above mentioned.

Be careful with those sap & tar removers... I had bad luck w/ them in the past... test in an inconspicuous spot 1st!
