I have a Ms6 with a cpe cai, cobb ap, cpe catted straightpipe, and a few smaller goodies in there to.

I'm planning on buying a cpe downpipe in the near future.
I dont want to get catless because of boost creep, throwing codes, bad oil problems and such..

then i realized the other day that my straightpipe has a cat on it...so should I be okay going with a catlses downpipe...or should i still pay the extra $150 and get a catted downpipe?

open to anyone who knows what they are talking about! ha ha

You should be okay. I've got Corksport's downpipe and it's catless. No codes but, because I'm running a catless system, I did have boost creep. I say "did" because I took my car to Surgeline and Tim tuned it. Nice to be putting down some good numbers see sig) with only 17 lbs of boost :)

Catless is what I have. I personally love the sound difference it made between stock ant 3 inch. My car does however throw the cel, but its got no actual code associated with it. From what i have understood, it is there because the car can not complete a check, not sure what the proper name for it is though.
Smoking turbo is not an issue for me, i might add that i have a stock catback though. My car does not boost creep either, its got a cob off the shelf tune adjusted a bit by quick6, then by me some more because it ran way different on my car then it did his

alright, plus i think the cat on my catback will help out a bit.
im going to look a little more into it before i buy one...thanks for the replies
and im still open to hear whatever anyone has to say!
