cargo net parts?

I already have a net, so I really just need the hooks that screw into the car. Anyone have any hardware store alternatives or anything? The dealer makes you buy the whole thing apparently, and I don't need two nets.

I believe these are the same across the lineup, so a junkyard might have a car with them in. The markup on them is insane too, that whole accessory is about $5 at cost.

bought my ms6 used and it didnt come with the cargo net, do either of you know where i can get one without as much crazy a$$ markup, i looked at a few places and all are bout the same price thus far. suggestions or cheapest you have found?

bought my cargo net 2nd hand off some old dude parting out his MZ6 and ofc he didnt include the clips/hooks.
Basically i went to home depot and bought the smallest "S" hooks i could find.

the side of the hooks that the net hangs onto i simply bent them shut, and the hook-side that secures to the mounting holes i had to bend up/outwards just a tad (like 1/4" out from their standard bend). This bend is just enough to rotate the hooks inside down through the metal brackets under the plastic liner piece, then the tension from the net rotates them back to their natural sitting angle and wammo they are SECURE and strong!

I might try and paint the hooks black at another time, but this was like a $1.75 hardware purchase.
GL!

your only bet is finding it used somewhere like the OP or me.
also you can try what steve suggested. junkyard hunting.

but all in all OEM parts are expensive across the board, all retailers will be only a few dollars apart.

I bought mine post-car purchase and installed it myself. It's not a very fun thing to put in, for as simple as it is. I got it, but wouldn't do it again. You have to drill out all of the push pin points behind the trim to allow them to accept the T-screw points and anchor in.

ewww... well that is the stock mounting option.
mine was as simple as removing the push-pins, insert hook. done. :)

they are very secure... i load up tools in that net and it hasnt unattached ever!
