Car Got Broken Into Last Night!!!

Thanks for the support, and yes it was covered by the dealership, although I've had a couple people tell me that I'm pretty lucky they did decide to pay for it, one of my buddies told me they really didn't have to and coulda stuck me with the bill. I wonder if that's true or not.

Geez, i cant believe someone had the nerve to break into your car at a dealership!!! I mean, thats just askin to be caught. Ususally those places have very tight security at night.

As for it being on the lot at the dealership when this happened, does`nt really surprise me.

When I was still in the navy, I left my Celica All-Trac w/ my parents to take care of while I was going out on deployment. This is always a better option then leaving your ride in long term parking on base for 9 months, and having some jackass breaking into it while you`re gone. And the bad thing is its usually the base cops that do it!!!!:mad:

When my ride was w/ my father, he thought it would be a good idea to give my car a tune-up before I got home. So...he took it to his local Toyota dealership : Sparks Toyota, Myrtle Beach , S.C. to get the job done. The morons left it in the lot over night, and somebody busted the shotgun window in, and drove my car around the back of the dealership, in order to steal my 18' Enki RPO 7`s wheels and the rest of my gear in the car!!! And then...while in the process of trying to steal my rims, one of the cleaning crew guys working the late shift, stumbled upon them in the act...and scared them off!! The damn dealership did`nt want to tell my father what happened...and did`nt!!! When he picked it up 3 days later, he noticed that there was some broken glass on the seats and asked what happened. And after a couple of HOURS of asking questions....they told him what happened!! After all this crap that went down, I vowed never to do business w/ Toyota ever again!!! Them BASTARDS!!!!(rant) (guns) (gun)
