ok so i hit boost fast and perfect , stops right at 7 lbs of boost and stays right there. i used to be able to rev the engine to 7k and put it back it gear and the power loss would go away for a while and my msp would be very fast. as of now, i cannot band aid the issue anymore. the power loss im having feels identical to a boost leak except for the fact that my afr's are the same everytime. any help would be great thanks

Maybe I'm misreading that, but I read it three times and I have no ******* clear what your actual problem is.

yes a wastegate actuator can do bad and so can the wastegate... and no maint on these two. I honestly think your Watergate isn't closing fully

This could be whats going on with your car... I chased down boost issues with my car forever tell i finally decided to remove the turbo. The internal wastegate backed out and was hitting the housing not allowing it to close properly and build boost as fast as it could

Some people have been able to press it back in but honestly i think it will just back out again. I just replace the exhaust housing with another one.

Dude AGAIN?! I love you! hahahah Ive been having boost surge. I gave my WGA a blow job, turned down the boost. And its fine BUT SSSSSOMETIMES it spikes and I hit FC. Like most of us I spend a lot of time logically narrowing down possibilities.... THIS MORNING I was wondering if it was possible for the dump valve to stick closed or open. Either way. But IMO it is. TTTTHANKS LOL But like you said, I think a new turbo and exhaust housing sounds a lot better than band-aid fix.
