California Water Blade

hmm, whenever i use mine i hear a loud ass noise as i sweep the water away. everytime i do this i just feel like i am scratching off the paint.

what am i doing wrong?

thats just it doing its squigee thing. i like to think of it as sqeeky clean lol. just make sure theres nothing on the blade part, and everything is peechy.

would you guys recomend buying this compared to a shammy? Do yall have any complaints about it? Im thinking about buyin one. also, does it keep your rides from getting water spots pretty well? ive got the black mica also and it a b**** with water spots!!!! thanks in advance!!!!

Corey:
The California Water Blade will cut your drying time in half. All it does is get the majority of the water off. You will still need to final dry with a good chamois; or a waffle weave micro fiber towel is another good option.

...These are fantastic for your paint's surface. I remove cleaner, polish, and wax with these towels. I bought the sampler pack. A waffle weave micro fiber is included in this sampler pack.

If you use the California Water Blade, make sure you rinse really well. If a particle gets caught under that silicone blade, you will scratch the surface.

I have both the California Water Blade and the California Car Duster. Both kick a$$ I'm driving a black 02 SER and the water spots and dust drive me nuts! I decided to give em a try and they're so worth it. The duster also works well on the interior if it needs a little sprucin up.

Ya, I love my California duster more than any cleaning product i have now, with the 6 coats of wax i have on the car now, if i dont have time to wash it, the California duster pretty much cleans it for me!!! Greg, I'm going to give that a shot and see how it goes, thanks for the input, you know us Black Micas gotta roll Blingidy Blingidy(mspb) (rockon)

i just got some microfiber towels last night, along with the Meguiar's 3 step system. i had some bird crap markings embedded into my hood, along with some scratches. not anymore! justa nice shine!! i love this stuff, and the micro-towels really are so much better than regular towels. i cant wait to do the rest of my car, but its raining now
