CA emissions equip...

ok so looking at my window sticker today, my car came with california emissions equipment (hand) . anyone know what it comes with over a regular ms6?? and how the hell can i get rid of it, i can only imagine it probably reduces power some way. thanks

from what I have been told the only difference is that it has a longer warranty on the emissions equipment. Mine says its not emmisions legal in CA. but I've been told its only warranty related.

well thats not bad at all. the cat is the same size i believe to a regular non ca emission equipped vehicle.

IIRC there's a different cat in the cali model as well as the additional evap emissions monitoring... but it's not supposed to impact performance (dunno)

I knew there had to be something different. But everybody on another forum keep swearing up and down that it was just the warranty info.
