Found a bubble in the front tire yesterday. I took it to the local tire shop and its not cover under warranty. $240 for a new one..... What a great friday.
I'm done, just had to vent and now you guys know what a tire costs.
it's probably from a pothole and that's considered a roadhazard so it wouldn't be covered by the warranty...unless you had specific roadhazard coverage.
bubbles are not caused by potholes, they are caused by defects in the tire. The dealer should have taken care of you...unless you have a bend or chip in your rim to go along with the bubble.

It was from a large pothole on the merritt parkway. I hit it last week, nothing I could do to avoid it. You can see a mark on the rim as well..... Its sucks, but nothing I can do now.
