okay, i dont know much about shipping to hawaii but i asked dgm about their front lip (fiberglass). they said its 300$ shipped, but since i lived in hawaii, to ship something like that is 200$ but they would "hook me up" for 100$ for shipping. um 100$ for a dawm lip? i mean, i bought rims from florida and shipping was 250$. someone please correct me if shipping is infact supposed to be 100 or even 200$ for a lip. thanks - chris

Yeah we were having this big debate on that too. It won't go via UPS, USPS or Fedex cause the box is too big. So they have t use a freight company which is a lot more expensive. That's the reason why I'm not getting the lip either. $100 for shipping just isn't cosher for me.

I work for UPS and I've seen some large boxes...how big (dimensions) is a box that the lip is shipped in? (confused)

all depends on how they pack it and the company...some companies will have deals with the shipping companies and will be cheaper others don't...check and see if somebody can just buy it for you and ship it to you for cheaper

That's the price that my roomate was given when he ordered his Carbon Fiber hood for his Suby. Unfortunately, there was no way around it.

You've gotta do a good bit of prep before you can paint it anyway, so why not have them cut it in half right in the middle, and then glass it back together before you put it on the car.

Cost would be less than ten bucks if you do it yourself, and it would probably save you a BUNCH in shipping charges.
