Boost Problem

Car is only boosting 2 psi recently installed Forge Wastegate Actuator. Do I have a vaccum leak or I have to adjust the springs on the Wastegate Actuator. Any suggestion fellow owners of the Mazdaspeed Protege. Thanks

I have the same wastegate as well which is by my turbo if thats what im thinking, Ive heard the forge isnt that great. Is your boost gauge going crazy? like you accel and the guage flutters back n forth.

blow into the tube that connects to your wastegate if any air passes threw then its the wastegate and if it doesnt then idk whats wrong lol

Im not sure if its the wastegate or what, I can get the psssssssh noise from my bov along with the turkey about 50% of the time so i need to fix that. I need to make sure mine is still good. I have the stock one as well.

I cant hear anything noticeable while driving from there anyway...not yet.

If you have a vac leak to your wastegate it won't open and will cause to over boost. If you're under boosting you're getting a boost leak or a leak from your bov..

plus you won't hear the wastegate letting out any air since our turbos are internally gated. You have a major boost leak somewhere

Sounds to me like it was improperly installed and not adusted before putting everything back up... sounds like your wastegate flap is being held open by improperly adjusted wga arm......
