Hey im pretty new to this forum and so far everyone has been very helpful. When im driving, i cant notice any boost unless im at a very high RPM and even then not so much. Does anyone know why this might be happening? Any input would be great, thanks.
It depends how you drive the car. Are you fairly easy on it in the lower gears and when you get into 4th or 5th you feel some boost? I typically am in boost at around 2500 and up from 2nd gear. But I am gassing it pretty hard. Do you have a boost gauge?
are u talkin about after 5500 rpm? mymsp leans out at 5500 and i get a "boost" of power to redline...off course when i dynoed they hear pinging so i dunno...get a boost guage

Were you getting pinging at stock boost in the higher rpms? Cause I do on hot days, and some people say they can boost 10-12 psi with no pinging at all...
you know, it actually depends on throttle position too. if it's open just a crack, they you aint gonna boost obviously. if it's like open all wide, then more injestion, more exhaust gas, more boost.
stock boost and all..no mods besides a dtt......its the tuning...on my dyno at 5500 i go from sub-11 a/f ratio up to 13 range....but u do feel a kick of power because of the leanin fuel.....def dont stay up there long....i run shell 93 or sunoco 94 always until i can tune that bad ecu

i use premium gas. the rattling happens only at high rpms with full throttle or near full throttle. the rattling sounds like there is something loose like a nail that is bouncing around under my hood.
but is the rattle when you shift, or during rpm climb?
if it is when you shift that could be the muffled turkey. it sounds more like a rattle with the stock airbox
