boost gauge install

I am about too install my boost gauge this weekend Which vacum line do i use or can you suggest a good idea for me. I was planning to use the T fitting on the left side of the motor (looking at the motor) but, Joe said not a good idea use another hose. So can you fellows help me out which one should i use. And where to rought the line through at. Will be installing those mods i have listed very soon.
