Bluetooth AVRCP Problem

My Mazda5 is 2013(2012+) model and I am having a problem with my phone sending track info to the stereo deck when playing music through bluetooth. My phone is now an iPhone 6 plus(iOS 8.1.1) but I had an LG G3 a week ago and that one didnt work either. All other functions of bluetooth seem to be working ok.

The Mazda 5 stereo systems do not have the required firmware (AVRCP metadata) to display the song track, artist, etc. You can skip tracks and pause but that's pretty much it.
