I would pick so many other brands before Monroe. They used to be awesome, but I think the last 20 years have been driven by accountants and marketers at that company. That's just my opinion.

The damping rate of Monroe is nothing like KYB or Bilstein but still better than Gabriel.

However, I can get warranty replacement easily over the counter at the local O'Reilly.

I'm not finding too many choices for the Mz5.

KYB and Monroe are the only ones I'm coming up with.
