Black Mesh Grille Inserts - Anyone Try These?

Did you have to take apart part of the front bumper to install it? I actually used the plastic stuff you linked to trooper. I definitely need to I find another way to fasten the mesh to the car.

If you were referring to me, then yes, the front bumper came off to do the job correctly. As far as another way to fasten your mesh, you can go Hobby Lobby or a similar craft store and find "jewerly bead wire". You can use a very thin black 22g to replace the ties without it looking um...ghetto. The wire is metal and very thin but strong and won't stand out.

I may have to look into doing that. How difficult of a procedure was it to remove the bumper? I don't have much experience taking vehicles apart :P

I tried finding a how to for the front bumper, but I couldn't. I may have to do a write up on it the next time I take it off. For a beginner with little experience, it's probably a 6 on a 1-10 scale. There's about 30 or so plastic trim fasteners that need to removed from the top, bottom, and inside the fenderwells. You can see one of them holding the bottom of the screen to the body in my above pic. Then there are only two other metal bolts that hold the bumper to the body (10 or 12mm, I forget). It's not hard depending on your mechanical skills, but it's the only right way to do it. If you decide to do it, hit me up, I'll guide you through it.
