Best Tailpipe Cleaner for MS6

What do you guys use to remove the carbon buildup in the inside of the MS6 oval tips? I was thinking about just using some wheel cleaner on them, but wanted to check with you guys first regarding what you feel works the best.

If you don't let it get too bad, you can use WD-40 and a shop rag. I never cleaned the inside when I had mine in (figured it would be like pissing up a rope) but it cleaned the chrome ring part nicely.

Try a degreasing kitchen cleaner like Purple Power.

I've used mother's mag and aluminum polish in the past with good results. If the build up is very bad, try some fine steel wool (000 or 0000 grit).

0000 steel wool and glass cleaner to get the rough stuff off, then mag polish on them to keep them clean. Usually use the wheel water when washing to scrub them down. Be careful when using the polish not to get it on the plastic, or it makes a big mess.

+1 on the steel wool. i've yet to find a tire cleaner that works real good. though, mine may be to far gone.
