Which Bulbs do you concider the BEST HEADLIGHT BULBS!!! Cause i need to buy headlight bulbs and i dont have the money for HID's so... yeah... plz chime in

They are expensive, but I like PIAA's. They have the color and brightness I want, and they don't burn out every two months. They are definately pricey though.
BTW I use the spark blue H7 and H3's.

and who makes blue

I like lights with a genuine blue glow, if anyone has tried and found some that are reasonable priced?

how much is deffinetly pricy?

True, all 3 sets of mine blew out within 4 months.

If you are looking in to getting PIAAs, I would PM leebanger as he had a pair that he was trying to sell.

i put the silver stars on my new truck and couldn't be happier for the $40 they cost. i tried a bunch of the cheap blue bulbs, and they all suck. don't get the super high wattage bulbs, cause the voltage will stay the same, but the amperage draw increases a lot. one of my headlight harnesses melted to the bulb due to the increased heat generated by the higher current draw. i've heard of people frying their harnesses and wires from using the cheap blue blulbs.

spend the money and do it right the first time.

i use orsam bulbs from powerbulbs.com, i have had on my es for about a year with no problems. Low beams there may be a small improvement, high beams there is quite a noticeable difference, much much better. powerbulbs is in europe took about a week to recieve, cost is about $40

silverstars are probably the best for normal lighting.. if you're looking for a blue light.. just put a mist of blue paint on your stock bulbs.. heh, it sounds ghetto, but what do you think the other companies do?

Stock is the best! You can try stock-type replacement bulbs too that they sell in auto stores

The best bulbs I've used were Osram +50 Super High Efficiency. Those are the best. They lasted me only 7 months, but that's because I drive 135 miles/day (and often at night). They have an awesome light pattern, they light up further, you can really see the sharp cutoff line, and they fill in the darker spots (light is more even).

Otherwise, I recommend going with Osram Xtravision (+20 % brightness) bulbs.

If you want that "white/HID" look, go for Sylvania Silverstars. They don't last too long, but give you legal, DOT-conforming output without being too blue, and give as much light as the OEM lights while having a better light pattern.

Yah, except if you do that, you will limit your light output, so the headlights won't be as bright.

^^^ Correct. So with any of the colored bulbs out there, they will put out LESS light than their whitish yellow counterparts.

I got the silverstars on sale for $25...They're awesome. Much brighter than stock and nice pure white(thumb)

I agree. I just picked up a pair on sale, and they are much brighter than my stock bulbs. I don't mind driving on the freeway at night now.
