I will need to choose a dealership in the Nashville area to service my Speed 3 in the future and would like some input on which is the best to go to for service. The dealership must be a mazdaspeed dealer. What has been your experience with these dealership service depts?

I would NOT get service from a dealership in the Nashville area if you have ANY aftermarket parts installed. If you plan on installing aftermarket parts remove them before any service at the dealership.
That said, Nelson Mazda, 2 locations in Nashville (Hickory Hollow & Rivergate) are both Mazdaspeed dealerships.
My experience with both has been eye opening. I bought my MS6 at the Hickory Hollow location.
I ordered the Mazdaspeed CAI thru the dealerships parts department and the service manager tried 'unsuccessfully' to void my warranty. The service manager backed off only after I had the Sales manager & parts manager talk to them.
Tried the Rivergate dealership (same owner as the Hickory Hollow dealership). I took 'her' in for one of the original ECU recalls if I recall correctly. Anyway, I did not remove the CP-E TBE and the mechanic called the service manager and then ME back to talk. They didn't wanna do the service/recall item that I had come in for but after 30 minutes of arguing, they reluctantly did the service I requested but only after making me aware of the fact that they would be making the appropriate NOTATIONS in their service computers about the modifications I made to the car/vin number.
I have since found a very good mechanic/tuner/car enthusiest to perform any an all service, I may need in the future. As I believe my warranty is shot.

trying to find a good place to get my timing belt etc. done, that will let me bring in the Gates tbelt kit.
i see a listing for Precision Motor sports on Adams lane in Mt. Juliet, same place?
there's a good independent shop close to me in Nashville but the mark up on parts is rediculous and they won't let me bring in the parts (or i haven't bugged them enough yet). Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I bought my Speed6 at Nelson at Hickory Hollow. I have since taken it there with my Forge BPV installed and again with my Forge/MS CAI. They never said anything to me.
One of the finance managers always cuts up with me about what my next toys will be on the MS6 or the MS3, both purchased there. Hell, he even recommended a TBE for the MS3 to speed it up. I wonder if he was fishing for a warranty removal...

I would'nt bet on my warranty being honored if you brought it in with a broken engine/turbo/whatever and all those after market parts still installed. If your someone that can remove all those parts before taking the car into the dealership without having to pay someone for it, then yeah I'd give it a shot.

I got bit 3 times by a brown recluse in one night a couple years ago...it sucked so bad. And those camel spiders are like something out of a sci-fi movie. They actually RUN after you in the desert.
