The ride can sometimes be little rough, but still good. Only real performance issue will be in hard track driving. But cars that use a bag system normally aren't going to compete in such events. So for everyday useage they dont present a problem.
dont get me wrong the car looks tight, but my car is the same hight in the front right now without airbags i have 18's w/g.c it sits almost the same as that car except for the back. the back of my car is right on top of my rim. anyways tight car looks good. i just tought that w/bags the front would be lower than that. i guess they cant go any lower right?
As for the front going lower it goes about 1 inch lower but it was making a really loud noise so they had to put a spacer or something in it to make it stop. I can customize it to go lower but i just don't want to do anything ghetto to this car, i wanted to try to keep stuff as stock as possible without cutting everything. Eventually ill start chopping, but not anytime soon.
I talked to a guy at a show last weekend and he said his ride is sooo much better than stock with the bags. But I don't know about on the curvs, my guess would be no! But for the bumpy highways it would be a nice ride.
What set up are you using on the rear, maybe post some pics. I'am very interested in air bags, but I cannot trust any of our local shops to test on my P5.
pretty clean show car. With all that stuff in the trunk, speaker/compresser/ect, i wonder how slow the p5 is. Cuz when me and 3 friends go snowboarding, my car is horrible slow. (They all weigh less than 200 for those of u thinking i might have big friends, heh). naw but really though its slow as hell! and i know those speakers n compressor arent exactly light...
Honestly im not into speed at all, i just care that i don't slow down traffic lol. I'm sure it is obviously slower than when i got it but it doesn't bother me. I have never even redlined my car, i think my brother did once and thats about it. I'd rather just go 5 mph and let the chicks jump in.
