I have noticed that here recently my radio and ac control panel backlights will surge. They don't dim at all, just get really bright for a very quick moment, and then they go back to normal. Sometimes they will flash multiple times in a row. Sometimes it flashes once then not again for a while. I'm not the only one that sees this phenomenon either. My wife was riding with me the other night and it happened. She asked me why they did it. Nothing I can think of will force this to happen, it just does. And normally I catch it out of the corner of my eye. It's frustratingly annoying. Does anyone else have this issue, and if so, how do I fix it?
