sorry about the kindergarten title, but im looking for a straight forward anwser. i have 46k on my car, have had the clunk for about 40k. Never replaced the bushing with the E series, cuz i dont wanna deal with the stealership service.......

what kind of noise ? squick ? clunk ?
but it does get rid of the msp clunk ?
any other solutions ?

clunk, a very deep clunk

i didn't have it with the stock sway bar, but with my 21 mm awr one, it clunks every now and then, especially when going over speed bumps

There's no clunk with my awr bar but the endlinks will start popping wildly after a month or so. Lubing them up fixes it for a while but I'm still looking for a permanent solution.

I've learned to live with my clunk...and the only easy fix I have found for it is a JL 10W6v2 in a high output box

very helpfull post! Thank you keep em coming.

never had any squeeks, clunks, pops, or any wierd noise from my AWR.

great now that I've said it, the damn thing is probably gonna fall off next time I drive the car. Thanks

lol hope not. what other suspension mods do u have? as in springs,struts... and u have the 21 or 19mm AWR ?

i cant understand why MSP(Clunk) owners dont replace there sway bars. I mean i know theres nothing wrong with the sway bar, its just the bushings. But Delsing was the only one making em and that was a limited run. The AWR is about 240 which is not that expensive considering the delsing bushings were around 150 IIRC

The Delsing brackets were more then that. The main reason you would keep the stock sway bar is because it does the job very well when it's working properly. Why put a larger bar on in order to compensate for a lack of stiffness caused by how the bar is mounted?

IMHO you should fix the actual problem instead of getting something else to cover it up. With a stock bar I get lift throttle oversteer with the Delsing brackets and bushings. My first autocross after the install I actually looped it. The car handles VERY neutral when the bar is set up to work properly.

The Delsing brackets/bushings will be back for more group buys.

well i know that fixing the problem would be ideal, but since its not available the AWR could be an alternative. Are the Delsing brackets gonna be available soon ? I thought he wasnt gonna make em anymore.

Dave (Micaspeed!) didn't have time to devote to Delsing anymore so he put everything up for sale. I bought the design rights from him and will be producing them in the future. Right now the big problem is cost. I'm doing my best to find a place that can cut steel cheap enough for me to make them affordable.

that's good news for me, Mallard. I was planning in buying a second set just in case. My first set is already rusted and I didn't have time to take care of it. Getting Dave's Klunk fix was probably one of the best upgrades I've done.

the dealer installed new E series bushings and lubed them and i haven't had any clunk since May.....

I get it very rarely. mostly i get bushing squeek everything 6 months or so and have to replace my bushings. any idea how much they are from the dealer cause my warranty is about up?
