I have for sale a AWR oil pan. I bought the pan with the return line used but I never installed it on my car. It comes with the spacer needed for the pickup and some extra oil pan bolts.
SOLD!

Thanks for looking,
Corey

any fitment problems with the first oil pan? like leaks or it not sitting flush with the windage tray?

I never installed the pan with the return line, so I have no idea.

Just so you know, you can not return oil below the oil level.

It will simply kill the turbo bearing.

So, whoever buys this should just keep it plugged up.

Care to explain? This has caught my attention because now that you mention it my return line is in the lower half of my stock pan

It has to do with counter forces.

for something to enter or pass through (a bearing) there first must be room on the other side.

the reason we use a AN4 oil feed and a much larger return has to do with this.

The oil leaving the bearing has been subjected to extreme heat and pressure, it does not look like oil and needs some time to change back to oil.

I know it seems like oil will just push the other oil away and everything will just work fine, but it actually builds up over a very short time and then the 50psi of oil feed is countered with 45psi of resistance and you get no love for the bearing.

the tube for the return needs to let a void form as close to the lower chamber of the bearing as possible.

The used oil travels down the large hose and air from the oil pan is able to go up the hose to balance the pressure. This lets the oil move freely.

look at any OEM turbo setup on any car, none of them return the oil below the oil line, and just so we are clear, the oil fully fills the oil pan to the tray on the protege.

Tap the Tray. Plug the pan.

It was suppose to be used for a pressure return for the Doc B setup for oil the has not been run through the motor and not the turbo return line. Or you can just leave it caped off if you are not running that setup and tap the windage tray like Brian said.

Pan that was pending is for sale again. So both pans are still avalible.

Oil pan without return is pending. Pan with return is still avalible.

Price changed to $200 shipped within the states for the pan with the return fitting.

Priced bumped to $190 shipped within the states.
