I just purchased a 2012 grand touring. It seems they replaced the windshield prior to my purchase. I have come to find they screwed the gel pad on the sensor. Today I had a glass shop replace the gel pad, but no change. I attempted a re-initialize procedure that I found, but no change. I am hoping for a solution without taking to the dealer, or throwing too much money at it.
I was thinking maybe there is a bad fuse. Also maybe I should do a ECU/PCM reset. Any help would be great. Thanks
By the way I have seen the how to section, and I have several interesting threads to read, I will be busy.
