Yes.....because if they dont say anything to you they will just mark it down and when you go in for work they will make sure to check the backround on teh car. It happened to Turbo P Matty.

No offence dude, that seems like a no brainer....I would TOTALLY take it off.

Totally, huh? It either is ON on, or it's OFF (rofl). There is no in-between.

You are mean!

Oh....almost forgot the chair. (chair)

Actually; my dealer is pretty cool, and probably wouldn't care.

I am new here can somebody explaini this to me?
I am picking up my new laser blue MSP on monday. If I dont get this done can I run 11 psi instead of 8? Or can I get the old flash which allowed you to run 11-12psi?

Its pretty funny how everyone is doing a mad dash to get remove all the mods and make the car look stock. :D

You will have more reliable performance from the car overall with the flash. This has come straight from teh tester's mouth...errr...keyboard. :D Basically...if you're a weekend tuner, you shouldn't just be upping the boost on this car. You'll now have to do it the old fashioned way: full engine managment.

Oh...and the only way to get the old PCM version would be to trade PCMs with someone who didn't get it done. Either way...a standalone was from the beginning the only real way to tune this car, and that siuation has not changed.

I don't see why they wouldn't flash you even with the crap on. I took my car in to get the stick shift knob and sub replaced and they saw all of my mods. I just don't care enough to take the time to do that!
I would think it was bogus if they don't want to flash someone because of a freakin boost controller!

It's not so much that they won't flash it. Dealers around here take note of it, and later when you come in for a problem they will do everything in there power to blame it on that. If you blow a sub, they will blame the boost controller. Something wrong with the brakes, obviously a boost controller issue. That's how they think around here.

Well luckily I didn't have that problem. The only thing they contested was a coolant leak and that was due to a non-Mazda part put on my car without my knowledge. I thought it was the coolant leak everyone had experienced on here, but it was something else so it is understandable. They may have taken note of stuff and that is fine. I get tired of the "Oh do you think they will cover this under warranty issue!" If they don't, they you know what my car is still bettered by the aftermarket stuff! It releaves me of the worry because I expect it now.

I could care less what they say remember they have to prove that the mod caused the problem (as stated many times).

Just out of curiosity if Big Bad Mazda is making this list and checking it twice what makes you think that they arent surfing these mesage boards and documenting everything that you type on here about the mods you have???
