it's pretty easy...once you take the shifter apart you'll see the two wires going to the OD button on the stock shifter...cut the wires, install a new momentary switch near the shifter surround and you're done...i should have taken pics of mine when i did it a s a how to..i always forget to do that!!

Where do you buy the switch at? Wouldn't you need to create a new panel cover around the shifter to instal an overdrive switch?

And if you could, take a photo of what yours looks like now so we can have a reference. That would help a lot

here you go...i'm actually going to relocate the sw down near the ebrake handle....easier to push... and the sw is a momentary contact sw..you press it goes on, you press again it does off..radio shack has them...
