Anyone with Joe's FPR kit - HELP!

:
03 MSP > 03.5 MSP > 05 Evo8 GSR > 10 EvoX MR-t > 96 MX-5
OK,
the directions say - "Locate the fuel pressure regulator vacuum line located on the backside of the intake manifold..."

does anyone have any pics of that line or of that general area?
i want to be very sure that i'm cutting the correct line.

maybe someone can describe it better with words?

I also want to thank Joe for getting this thing out to me.
(oh and Joe, i dont mean that your instructions are bad, i just want to be 100% sure)

Thanks everyone.

Uhh, I think I'll let Joe field this one. I remember him saying he didn't want to get too specific about the install on a public forum. I would e-mail him for some more info.

yeah, picture is great !

I am looking for a pic I had and can't find it :(.. If you look on the top of the intake manifold towards the right side (facing the motor from the front), you will see a solenoid mounted to a bracket with one hose going from the manifold to the solenoid and another one from the solenoid to the actual regulator on the fuel rail. you can tap either one of these- I prefer the one from the manifold since it is kind of towards the back and is hard to notice should the car be in for service work or anything.

It is not so much a public forum I am worried about, it is making it too easy to the point that *anyone* can do it, because then anyone will attempt it without asking for help if they are unsure of something. I would rather give enough info that if you know what I am talking about, it is 100% safe for you to do it, if you don't you can ask for help and make sure it gets done right. I used to do my MBC instructions word for word with pics and all for specific vehicles and you would NOT believe how bad people would screw it up. Now with just the basic instructions, they ask for help if they are unsure and I hardly see any install errors :).

what kind of intall/BBQ will it be with nothing to install? haha oh well we can work on my car
:)

hey Joe, i figured it out, thanks man,
so far the car feels much better (it's 104 degrees today in LA)
the hesitation is still there but it's about 1/8th of what it was before - IT IS ACTUALLY BARELY NOTECEABLE!!! GIVEN THE WEATHER!
thanks again?!
