Now we all have probably heard some or all of the Mz5 noises:
The suspension - sometimes in the front or the rear, many of us are familiar with "cowl clatter" (that sounds like it's under the dash,) some have complained of wind noise around the mirrors and I don't consider a rear 2nd row loose seat belt (when not clipped into it's holder) a real noise - but I discovered a new source of sound and can't find any postings on it here:
The driver's seat squeaks (2008 w/57k miles.)
For a few months I've been hearing a new set of squeaks/creaks every now and then - they seemed to be behind me in the back seat - sometimes to the left, sometimes on the right - but I could never really pinpoint it. Then I realized that if I just shift my weight around a bit side to side - I hear the noises from the driver's seat itself.
Anyone else have this experience or know of a posting on it? Is there a solution for it?
