Any How To's For a DownPipe?

i cant find any install instructions or how to's for installing a dp. can anyone help out?

1. removed old Dp.
2. install new Dp same way you removed OLD DP.

i'll give you a very basic outline.

remove tmic
remove heat shields
spray primary o2 sensor a lot with pb blaster
undo 5 nuts from turbo studs
undo mid pipe from downpipe
very very very carefully remove the o2 sensors
unplug them from the vehicle...
put o2 sensors in new dp
put new dp in the vehicle
put anti seize on the nuts going on to the turbo studs

****. it took me about 6-8 hours. but i'm lazy...i dilly dally...i procrastinate. there are some people who can do this swap in about 3 hours

i would say it depends on how hard your o2 sensor is to get out and whether or not you break it.

ditto. i thought my second o2 sensor was going to be stuck in my stock dp forever. luckily after soaking it with pb blaster for about 24 hrs i was able to get that sucker out. -- frickin PITA.....idk how mazda managed to use materials that make it so difficult

Yeah mazdas cheap plastic screws / clamps / and bolts make even the simplest of jobs VERY annoying.
