ok im interested in buying some rims from a local forum.

this is the offsets that i got from another thread that will fit the mp5

215/40/17; 215/35/18
-------------
7.0" +45 and higher
7.5" +48 and higher

205/40/17
-------------
7.0" +42 and higher; Barely making it
7.5" +48 or higher, the +45 still worries me with this width on a 205.

ok my question is:

if 17x8 and 17x9 offset +35

will fit my car. i know probably not but im not a wheel guru but i really like this wheels....the 17x8 i can probably squeeze them in there but im really backing off with the 17x9 on (the rear i guess).... if they dont fit
is there a way that i can make them fit like rolling my fenders or something??

(I THINK THE 35 OFFSET IS WHAT I SHOULD BE WORRY ABOUT THE MOST?)

35 offset = fail

The choice of wheels is somewhat limited on this car, unfortunately.

Well, for your reference, I'm running 185 width tire on a 6" rim with +41 offset (winter setup). That combo leaves very little room in the back for the tires to travel past the fender.

Yes! You have the sizes and offsets right in your first post. I have 7.5 50mm offset with about .200" to the coilovers and .200" to the fender.

would i have any problems with a 17x8+45 in the rear...with a 2" drop...
please let me know......

please someone answer as soon as possible tanks...

No problem man...wish I had the answers you wanted but it's very tight back there! I've tested the limits!
