After using Nightshade

I'm wanting ro use the nightshade spray to smoke out my front side markers but I want to throw a layer of clear coat to make it look stock. But I want to know any suggestions of what you may be using. Thanks for any help.

u can use nightshade, i used automotive paint.2 Coats of Jet Black, then 3 coats of clear coat..did it in a spray booth it came out really good.. ill post some pics up later on tonight.

I'm going to try Tamiya Smoke Spray for Plastics. Got it at the Hobby Shop, can't buy Nightshades here.

All i did was use nightshade without any clear coat or anything and honestly, they came out great. Best $13 ive spent.

3 light coats of nightshade. 1 light wetsanding to knock down any dust particles that landed on the lenses. 5 coats of clear. wetsanding with 1500 and 2000 grit untill smooth. Polishing with plastic polish and an obital polisher. I will get pictures once my lasy friend wakes up.

I'll sub for more info. I've also been thinking of smoking my side markers, but I've read so many different ways of doing it(dunno). I'll wait for pics.

Alright so the nightshade wouldn't stay on even with a few coats and since I don't care for the visibility of light nor the actual use of the side markers I decided to go with the Valspar Flat Black with Valspar Clear Gloss. I only had time to do two coats of black and two coats of clear before it started sprinkling. So excuse the car for being dirty too lol. Let me know what you think.

if u can lightly wet sand them with 1600 grit sandpaper that'll get the orange peel out..i have some pics of mine ill post up tomorrow as ive been bust lately and havent had a chance too...wet sanding them alittle makes them look smooth.

i used like 5 coats of night shade on my 6.. and just used painters tape and some news paper to mask it off and it worked great... didnt even bother taking themoff and it still came out fine.. did the same thing to my tail lights too
