AEM Short Ram Intake Question

for those of you with the aem intake...would you say it is safe to take your car through a carwash with an underbody spray?..

I've run mine through without any problems. I think the likelyhood of getting water up there is petty slim. Regardless, I live in Iowa and have been through some nasty weather with that car and the intake with no problems. The only problem I have had with that intake is very slight lag during rain or snow, but I think that is typical.

a wash where as you drive into it there is a under body wash (so yeah the car is running)...and where the filter sits if you look down you can see the ground...it should be fine as long as the filter isnt submerged right?..

Yeah, a full car wash with jets washing the underside of the car, shouldn't be a problem. I did remember another problem that I'd like to ask about though. The rubber flange that connects the piping with the filter on it to the MAS is starting to crack a bit. Anyone else have this problem?
