AC sterilizer

In a couple of cars I've dealt with there's been a provision to spray some sterilizer into a small hole that will "clean" the AC out and make it smell less musty. Any one heard of such a thing on a 5?
This is something I actually miss a Haynes manual for :)

The manual link is posted on here somewhere. I don't recall such a port, but haven't looked specifically for one.

I would imagine this could be done through the condensate drain tube on the engine side of the firewall.

I did some more checking on this. As it turns out the condenser is right after the cabin air filter. The condenser drain tube is actually accessible behind the same kick panel on the passenger side that you use to access the cabin air filter. I tried spraying some disinfectant into the drain tube to see if it would make a difference and it did...for about 3 days. I'm thinking I could remove the cabin filter and spray directly on the condenser from there. Any thoughts?
