AC help

So the other day my AC just stopped blowing cold. It was working fine on my way to work and then on the way home its just nothing but hot air. I checked all the fuses and did one of those DIY recharge things but that didnt seem to help. The compressor still kicks on but it just blows hot air. When its just me in the car i dont care, but i dont like my wife or kids to be soaked on the way to town.

look at the hvac controls and make sure the ac light in lit on the button and not flickering.. u could be having the infamous flickering issue

also make sure the pass side fan is on when u have the ac on

The light works on low and high, and every now and then on 3. It was blowing nice and cold then nothing.

did u try switching the temp control knob from cold to hot and see if there is a change? u could have a blend dorr issue like its stuck or a broken cable and check that ac fan
