93 protege shuts off on the highway continuously

My 93 protege continues to shut off around the same spot on the highway every morning on my way to work. Sometimes it shuts it self off and turns itself right back on and i can continue driving and sometimes it shuts off entirely and i have to power steer it to the shoulder and start it back up. Oil was just changed, the plugs wires were just done, as well as the cap and rotor. Im trying to get an idea of where to go with next. I plan on changing the fuel filter this week as ive heard that could be it. Someone also mentioned that the fuel injectors might be a little clogged. Another person said the ignition coil. And some said the alternator. It happens on the highway every morning and starting to be a little scary, my everyday car so i need to figure a fix out soon. Anybody with this problem or have any advice on what i should replace first on the car? thanks.
