3,000 mark up on MSP?!

OK they want a 3,000 markup because it is Limited?! WTF!

I am pretty sure that some people had alittle markup but not 3 grand...I know prices have probably been talked about how much did u pay for your MSP before Tax, tag, and title.

Please i need help...:'(

tell them they are crazy > THe majority of the people I have talked to have gotten the car sticker or below. Also tell them it is no longer limited. Don't let them BS you like that. And make sure you get free s*** too.

my dealer has 3 they said sticker or below also. they are tryin to get me to trade in my mp3 for one. 1 orange 2 black. come take a cruise up to philly.

What I know is that the MSP has almost NO profit margin (=the dealer is barely making money, if anything.) Fact: Each dealer that sells/sold Mazdaspeeds had to pay Mazda $12,000 just for the right to sell them. =dealer gets shafted, has to try and make up for it.

Just tell them you're offer and just be like, I don't really need this car, blah blah. If they know you are really into it, don't expect a good deal. My dad landed his in the $19000 range

yea i went by another mazda dealership to look at the MSP and get some prices...and the sales man told me that they arnt a Mazdaspeed dealership But if your intrested in a PR5 i can help u out..i got back in the car and left...headed to Lokey Mitz...and drooled at the EVO 8...mmmm but 30,000(even with my discount) doesnt help. There is a 2,000 mark up on that car. and i could get it for Sticker price...but damn..no test drive!

But if you all have a chance do go and look and drool at the Lancer Evolution(EVO 8) nice...me and my gf just looked and drooled...Hood is aluminum, and a nice CF inlet wing..mmmmm(hump)

walk in to the dealership and say I'll buy it today for 'x'

Make sure you're over 30 years-old or drive there in a more expensive car than the MSP.

Let them know you're a qualified buyer, i.e.; you've already got the funding and give them five minutes to decide.

That is the going price everywhere I've seen the car. I have yet to see it below 20,500.

I paid about 19k for mine. I did call Mazda Friends first for a dealer recommendation. So the dealer knew I was coming aware and was prepared to be "verbal" with Mazda about the buying experience. Also I am 32 with a wife and 3 kids so they knew I wasnt there just to browse. I called them in advance, let them know in no uncertain terms that my credit was (is) very good, I make more than enough and that I was going to roll up, get the car with nothing out of pocket, with a good rate and then leave.
I was nice but I do not want to pay too much. I was actually going for a 6s and when I saw this car I was like damn...

i paid the 3k markup w/ a deal

i paid for the 3k markup on condition that i get a percentage off on the orange and black leather upgrade that will be out shortly. i know its not worth the 3k buy hey. it all good, i still have my msp besides that if you really want one there is one on ebay in florida for 17,500

thats a lot of money that could have been spent on other stuff. You should get free leather upgrade for that much. well at least u got ur msp, but im sure u could have gotten one for msrp. You could have came up to philly for about 150$ one way airfare and had a nice little ride home and saved about 2500$.

there is only one in ST. Pete that sells Mazdaspeeds and one in tampa. I will be making a trip to tampa tomarrow.
