Just playin'. I still think the titanium looks killer, especially after just seeing some pics from tex, the new member that posted pics of his. It's mighty sweet, but if I had a choice I'd probably go for the orange 2003, that's just more my taste

Okay....let me put my part of this story to rest. First of all; we are all friends here.
I would not hesitate buying a 2003.5; if I didn't already have a 2003. I simply prefer the front end better on the 2003. I like the rear wing okay on the 2003.5. The new wheels are fine, as well. As far as the pedals and shifter on the 2003; I like the fact that they say (and are) Sparco. True; most people that ride in the car are clueless about it, but that's okay, too.
Absolutely; I think they are 2 of the best looking sedans on the market; no question.
Either one is a winner! (thumb)

I was at the dealer today having my P5 serviced. They had a black mica 03, a titanium 03.5, and a yellow (not sure of the name, is it Vivid Yellow?) 03.5. All looked amazing; I'd never seen an MSP in person.
They had the yellow MSP parked next to a bright yellow 6 with the sports package on them. I had to get a second look to make sure that it wasn't two 6's. But bear in mind this was my first time to see an MSP in person.
I really liked the interiors; if I didn't need the utility of a 5 door and didn't have to have a moonroof I'd love to have one.

The cluch is harder, the shift knob is fatter and it just feels like it has no power. I punched it and it was not going any where. It had like 480 miles on it. They also change the seats, pedals, and no fog light. The tail is ugly and they want $500 more.
We wouldn't be a little biased about our orange 12 psi 2003 would we???

I'm amazed that Mazda had to put in a heavier clutch thouh. I mean, come on, the car only has 170 HP and the clutch is stiff???? I was driving 200hp preludes years ago with a clutch you could barely feel under your foot. Why so stiff? lazy Mazda engineering?

I don't get why everyone has a lazy left foot? The heavier the clutch the more fun. Most of the HD clutches I've driven basically pop your foot right back to where you need to be to engage the clutch. After driving with one of those for a while, every other clutch feels like the pedal isnt going to come back up. Oh well, must just be me. I like em.
Oh and Newf. you don't like the front lip on the new MSP?(2003.5) I'll sure as hell buy it then.. Or am I confused?

I love it. I like it better then the Auto Exe lip, and a hell of a lot more then the cheap wind splitter on the mp3. I like the Autoexe and all, but it's too low for where I live, and I don't like the fact that it looks so much like and aftermarket addon, you can see the crease where it joins so easily. The lip on the 2003.5's at least doesn't have a crease. But jesus.....give us damn fog lights already! or at least make it an option to buy the accessory....that's the least they can do for raising the price 500 bucks ??????
I like how the front lip comes back out on the bottom, kinda reminds me of a 911 turbo....which just happens to be one of my fav cars of all time.
