I have an lx 2.0 2001.
Just finished install of replacement engine--- it fires up and runs on quick start fluid. but stops and although it has fuel, it is not getting to the injector body at right pressure maybe? i suspect not enough fuel pressure or faulty pump. it does have fuel in the line to regulator, but i am not sure the pressure spec. anyone know the pressure spec for the fuel feed into the pressure regulator to the throttle body?
I have some other ideas on troubleshooting: could be the pump is bad, never replaced it ever and it sat for about a year before i replaced the engine that was fried due to overheating.
So how can I test to see if there is enough fuel pressure without investing in expensive tools?
