2 birds with one stone, buy MS3 and put suspension on M5?

My wifes 70k miles 06 Mazda 5 needs shocks/struts, and probably front strut mounts/bearings. I am in the market for a new car and the MS3 is on my short list.
Would I be stupid to buy the MS3, swap the shocks/struts/bearings over to the M5 and install aftermarket on the new car?

whats the weight difference between the cars? distribution?

will they actually fit?

from what i have read, the 06-09 speed3 suspension will physically fit right into the 5, but the rear will sag too much from the extra weght that the 5 carries in the rear. i'm not sure if the newer 2010+ suspension will carry over.

Correct. I am running MS3 springs with stock M5 shocks. My wife and I did the swap last year.

Front is a perfect drop.
Rear is a bit lower than I prefer - but hey, it's not bad. With a full load, the rear sags quite a bit.

thats the reason i havent gone that way. i know my wife would appreciate the mildness of the handling upgrade fromt he speed3 parts, i wouldnt be able to deal with the saggy rear.
