As compared to my wife's 05 Acura TSX, anyway.
The issue is when it's hot out, which is about 320 days a year here in sunny Florida, the AC in my Protege takes a few minutes to cool down. And, as I said, I'm comparing to my wife's TSX, which gets ice cold right away and stays that way. I checked the refrigerant pressure in the system and it looked fine. The only thing I can think is that when I start the car sometimes, the accessory belt slips and squeals a bit. I think all it needs is a re-tensioning, so that will be the first step. Other than that though, what should I check?
