'02 vs '03, Body Differences

Hello all,

I have a client who has an '03 Protege5 and wants a complete front end Paint Protection kit. My kit software only goes as far as the '02 model. My question is...were there any major changes to the front end of the car between the two model years, or are they essentially the same. From what I have been able to gather, there are no major changes, but I thought I'd check here with the experts. Thanks in advance for your help

I've got a Canadian MP5, and from what I can tell, the only differences are the wheels, the color of the headlight innards, and the side-marker lights on the front fenders. Other than that, I'd say you're fine.

There were no changes to the front for 2003.

actually, i noticed that the 2003 models have a crease where the license plate goes. the 2002 model only has 2 holes and a flat surface area. just a minor diiference.

Thanks to all who responded, it was exactly the information I was looking for. Crease or no crease, it really won't matter as the material is pretty flexible.

If any of you need kits, please call and we'll get em out to you pronto. Gotta keep the front ends of these cars looking nice and pit free....

oops, i must have been smoking crack or something....i just realized my p5 has a crease. but i think i recall some of them not having one.
