on a nice flat stretch of road near my office i can regularly hit 7.0 seconds 0-60 with a not so fresh clutch (still breaks the tires loose at the shift, though)...Thats measured from an app using an accelerometer for timing (counter starts at .1 g) in my smart phone, and gps lock and OBD-II signals for vehicle speed...so thats not perfectly accurate, but i'm pretty sure i have the correction values lined up pretty well...the main reason i'm trusting it is simply because of consistency...
the same app is showing roughly 140whp since my intake upgrade, with my cams set up to peak at about 6800 rpm...that whp number is only as accurate as my vehicle weight entry (which corrects itself with fuel usage)...which is mostly a best guess based on factory rating and what i have in the car (as well as what i've removed)...so that also isn't perfectly accurate, but remains consistent...
to test that...i've hit 6.8 seconds with the gas light on...and always around 7 flat with a full tank (so roughly 90lbs of weight difference)...but no matter what i've been between 139-141whp...elevation is 612 feet...for an engine with ~160,000 miles, and NA...i'm ok with it...
