Zymol Cleaner Wax

Hi there,

I just made the decision that i wasn't going to use the 3 stage cleaner/polish/wax, but to go with one bottle of Zymol Cleaner Wax. It was just slightly cheaper then going with three bottles, and less time consuming, and i remember hearing good things about Zymol.

The bottle says it can removie swirls and minor scratches and i hope it does just that. If some of you remember, a air box fell from the a shelf in my garage a few days ago and it left scratches on my right fender and bumper.

What do you guys think of Zymol who have recently used it? I want to do the entire car sometime this week. My entire car has never been waxed since i took delivery, 7 months ago.
Any tips on how to apply it and how to remove it?
What kind of cloth can i use? I was just thinking about using old 100% cloth shirts that i don't wear anymore.

Thanks

Speaking from experience, Zymol is good, however, its not worth the cost. You could get the same results from a cheaper off the shelf product such as something like meguiars or mothers. I really can't tell you what is good off the shelf. I deal with all industrial stuff at work. The product line is called Mark V(5). As far as towels use 100% terry cloth towels, don't use the shirts you'll end up with a lot of really fine scratches that won't be easy to remove. Also I don't know if you heard of those microfiber towels, those too are really good. Put wax on a something like the meguiars yellow pad(wherever you can get meguiars products, there in a 4 pack) and go in a circular motion, you'll get a more even coverage. Alright, good luck with everything.
Peace, Lanson

Yeah Zymol is good. My only problem was that I used it w/o washing off my different wax and it made swirls like crazy. Nothing an electric buffer didn't take out, but it was aggrivating. Overall though the end result was very pleasing!

you should try drinking zymol..it tastes good..and it isnt toxic..i live under power lines and ate paint chips as a kid...haha if your looking for a quick put nice wax job..check out that new wax as you dry spray..works quite well..it isnt a clay bar or anything..but works very nicely..

Here's my car after the Zymol treatment. Goes on and comes off easy. I love the smell of it too.

Is anyone aware that the Zymol that they sell a Pepboys, Kragen, Autozone etc may not carry the correct Zymol Products. For the real Zymol wax, you should purchase it at a authorized dealer. The wax that is sold at my local Pepboys, Kragen, Autozene etc, is their SUV wax not the car wax. I check the back of the bottle aswell and it said for SUV's. Just wanted to give you guys a heads up.
