Some folks who have ever sat (or stood) in the cavernous confines of a Mercedes-Benz and Dodge Sprinter van have probably thought to themselves, wow, I could probably fit a car in here. But no one would actually be crazy enough to do it, right? Wrong.
According to a report by German magazine Auto Bild, a duo did just that by somehow managing to stuff a Mazda 626 into the back of a Sprinter. Since the report is in German, we used Googles translation tool to get some sort of explanation of the outrageous photos. Auto Bild states that German police officers spotted and stopped the Sprinter while paroling a highway near Hamburg, Germany. The windows were reportedly covered in newspaper and the rear doors were only half way closed.
And what they discovered when they opened those doors is exactly what you see in the picturesa Mazda 626 vertically stuffed inside the back of Sprinter van. And while the Mazda appears to be comfortably napping on mattresses (to avoid scratches), the same cant be said for the passenger who was reportedly wedged between the hood and the seat, presumably to maximize cargo space.
The report also states that the duo hails from Kazakhstanyep, the home country of none other than quirky and outspoken movie character Borat. And if the duo from the glorious nation of Kazakhstan is anything like Borat, we could only imagine the earful of interesting explanations the officers had to endure.
Ultimately, the officers decided that the Mazda (which wasnt stolen) was not properly secured inside the Sprinter and that their admirable attempt at vehicle transport was breaking the law. Unfortunately, two important questions are left unanswered or were lost in translation: why they did it and how did they get the Mazda in there? Whats your guess?
