Zline 3 Gauge Install (Big Pics)

I bought a Zline 3 gauge bracket from http://www.03msp.com/products.htm.
I have a Volt meter, Oil Pressure and A/F gauge. The A/F gauge is the coolest. Very cool light show when you are not at 80% throttle. All I can say is when I'm at high boost (10ish) that gauge stays right in green the WHOLE time, right to red line. (thumb)

The install took a time because I wanted to it fit just right. At first it was pushed back to far and the whole abbemby needed to be moved forward. I super glued 3 washers together and use them as a spacer. I also further customized it by spraying it with a bumpy black kinda flat paint. The oil pressure sender is not installed yet cause it's buried and I really need a lift to get at it easy.

One word of caution, the volt meter's directions did not say to run a dedicated line to the fuse box for switched power. So I ran all three switched wires to the large blue wire in back of the HVAC controls. This was a bad idea. This power lead ran the fan. Also it seems the fan motor sucks and uses every bit of voltage/amps/juice it can get. It killed the volt meter causing it to read 0 .....lol with the car on. OOps..so I ran a dedicated line to the small fuse box.

Thanks guys...and not expensive really. Zline was about 25, A/F was given to me by my cousin. Oil Pressure gauge B-day present....and of course my time. I soldered all the connections, and routed wires carefully. At night it looks best.

fits, but its work. you have to do a little cutting. In my case I had to cut the Greddy Slots alot and make a custom trim to go around them so they would mount through insted of behind the plate. Then you have to trim your dash away some to get it to bolt in correctly.

Oh man I don't know the size. They were very normal looking washers. I'd less than a 1/16 each. I would do a "mock up" with no wires or gauges/electronics and try some washers. Go for 2 or 3 and see how it looks. I did not have to get longer screws, the stock ones are long.

Looks good. I installed mine yesterday, it wasn't to hard to do. I got sick of having the guages on the A piller and having everyone and their mom reving on me and stuff when they saw it. I am waiting for my EGT guage still to fill the 3rd hole. Oh yeah, I prefered to have the guages up a little higher so I switched the radio and them around.

Does anyone have any ideas on what you could use as a 'riser' to match the height of the trim of the radio so that it is a flush fit instead of being sunk in? (Just being anal @ this point) In any case - they look sweet =D

yep that is another reason, but they still do that b.c of the CF hood haha
